Wrong Number

My mother died recently, after almost a year the state kept changing her illness. Her life was bland since the father died. But last year was really hard for her. For my mother, Marge. Life has no meaning anymore without George, her husband. There are no friends live, friends joke, nothing else is there to be loved. Indeed we are still there, but her life is no longer as before, without a father. We can understand it.

In the hospital, suddenly the mother's condition is declining. My sister, Betsy informed. She hurried away to the hospital. Previously she had time to send a message to her husband, Andy. Andy immediately contacted the hospital. Andy knew that Mother was lying on the floor seven. He tried to remember her room number. 7226? 7626? 7662? Finally he contacted the hospital telephone operator for help are linked. He said that he wanted to talk with Marge Mueth. Pronounced the name of Mother: "M-U-E-T-H"

"She lay in room 3643," said the operator. "Let me connect."

Andy does not understand why my mother moved to another room. Andy heard a male voice answered after connecting operator. Andy grew confused, because it does not recognize the voice. He drew the conclusion that the operator had the wrong number. "Sorry", he said, "It seems wrong number. I would like to contact Mueth."

Andy hung up the phone with a feeling of amazement. He called the operator again and asked to be connected with Marge Mueth, seventh floor. Operator connect it to the room 7226. Betsy who answered the phone while bordering on Mother's room.

Billy, son Andy. Concludes the scene with the innocence and wisdom of a child: "Grandfather came here to pick up my grandmother to come home." Betsy just crying and asking myself, why so long "Grandpa" just arrived.

Little Angel

My experience photographing children has more than twenty years. On one particular occasion, the thanksgiving day one of them give away something special to me. She was a sweet baby was six months back in the carriage.

"Emily's situation is not so good today." Her mother said. The baby does look feverish. Her head fell to the side several times while she tried to stand upright. Some times you tried to shoot, but to no avail. Finally I approached the baby's face and then talk to her, "You look like a little angel." I said.

Suddenly the baby's attitude changed, no longer moving weak. She looked at me as if to say, "I'm fine, just how I was doing just that is not feeling well today." Because Emily seems like a little angel, I then decided to take a photo with a dressed up like an angel.

My pair of existing equipment in my studio, white wings made of duck feathers smooth, soft and pure white. I placed a small crown on her head made of flower arrangements. I was busy photographing my little angel, who sat in a chair with an attitude of embracing middle clouds decor.

As long as it is noticed that her mother cried softly, "She's an angel, just yesterday you know that she was born with brain defects are very rare. Thanksgiving feast today is the first and last time we can together," the mother said, weeping. "The possibility of live infants with such defects was not until a year. When I was pregnant, I followed all the doctor's advice. No smoking, adjusting the diet, but her brain did not develop further on the circumstances at birth. There were only 435 cases of brain defects such as these throughout the known." The mother said.

"You look at Emily who was actually a little angel. She descended to earth to tell us that God wants us grateful for what we have. Sometimes, when we asked her to speak, she then became so calm and peaceful. She also babbled in baby language. Looks like we can catch her baby language, as if she were about talking on us. We did not know was how much longer she will be with us. You have to capture our little angel." Mother said.

My neck feels like a clogged hear that story. With a voice hoarse with emotion I said, 'Thank you for the opportunity to share this experience, I am grateful that this little angel came over to me. "

A Thousand Paper Birds

When Adrian and Siska dating, Adrian fold 1000 paper birds to Siska. Hung in the Room of Siska. Adrian said, 1000 paper birds that 1000 marks the sincerity of his heart. At that time, Adrian and Siska always feel how beautiful their love.

On a day when rain, Adrian saw a pair of old people walking very slowly in front of his car. He recognized them, they are  Siska parents.

Adrian wanted them to see if now he not only has a private car but also has a villa and the company itself, they want to know if he's not a poor again, he is now a boss. Adrian drove very slowly and follow the old man.

The rain kept pouring endlessly, even as they use umbrellas but their bodies still wet rain. When they reached their destination, Adrian stunned by what is in front of her eyes. It is the burial place, he saw on the board very sweet smile Siska gravestone against him. Beside his grave is dependent birds made of paper that Adrian. In the rain, the birds that paper is so alive.

Parents Siska members know Adrian, Siska did not go to paris. Siska esophageal cancer, Siska went to heaven. Siska want Adrian to be successful, having a harmonious family then was forced to leave Adrian Siska. Siska really understand Adrian, he believes that Adrian will be successful. Siska said that one day Adrian would come to her grave and hope that he will bring some more paper birds.

Adrian immediately knelt in front of the tomb Siska, crying so bitterly. Rain on that day was not going to stop wetting the body of Adrian. Adrian remembered Siska sweet smile that had always accompanied him every time.

The Master And The Fool

In a region lived a wealthy merchant. He has a servant who is very naive to the people call it the fool. One time, the master asks the stupid go to a poor village to collect a debt of the population there. "Debt they've matured," said the master.

"Well sir," replied the fool. "But later on what to do with the money going?"
"Buy something that I do not have," replied the master

Then go to the village idiot in question. Simply hassles also the fool of their duties, to collect loose change for a dime of debt from villagers. The residents were very poor indeed and also when it also happened a long dry season.

Finally, the fool managed to complete the task. On the way home he remembered the message of his master, "What is it?" Ask the fool in the liver. "My lord is very rich, what else have you got?"

After thinking very long, the stupid answer. He returned to the slum earlier. Then he shared more money that was collected earlier to residents.
"My Master gave this money to you," He said.

The residents are very happy, they praised the generosity of the Master.
When the fool come home and reported what he had done, the master shaking his head. "It's really stupid," the Master angry.

Time passed. Unexpected thing happened. The change in leadership because of rebellion to make the business of the Master is not as smooth as before. Not to mention the catastrophic flooding that spend all their possessions. In short, the host went bankrupt and destitute. He left his house, only the fool who participated. When she arrived at one village, for some reason the residents greeted them with a cheerful and warm. They provide rides and food for the Lord.

"Who are the residents of that village and why the recording to kindly help me?" Ask the Master.
"Once you've told me to collect a debt to the poor people of this village" replied the fool. "Master ordered that the money collected me buy you something you have not yet."

At that time I thought, "Mr. already have everything. The only thing that you have is not love in their hearts. And so I share it to them on behalf of Mr. Now you get their love."

Arrogance

A great storm sank the ship. Only two men survived and swam to a small, barren island. The two men did not know what to do, except pray. To find out who is most answered prayers, they agreed to divide it into two small island and they lived opposite.

First prayer, they pleaded derived food. The next day, the first man saw a tree full of fruit grown on the side of his residence. While in the area where the other man remained empty.

A week later. The first man was lonely and decided to pray for granted the wife, the next day there is a shipwreck and the only passenger who survived was a woman who was stranded on the side of the island where the first man lived. While on the side where the second man is simply nothing.

Soon, the first man prayed for a house, clothes and food. The next day, like magic, all of which asked to attend for him. While the second man still did not get anything. Finally, this first man prayed for the ship so that he and his wife to leave the island.

In the morning, they found the ship stranded beside the beach. The first man and his wife went upstairs and get ready to sail the ship left the island. He also decided to leave the second man who lived on the other side of the island. He said the second man was not worthy to receive these blessings because of his prayers was never granted.

Once the ship was ready to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven, "Hey, why are you leaving your friend who is on this island?"

"Berkahku is just my own, just because my prayers are granted." Replied the first man. "My prayer was granted none. So he did not deserve anything. "

"You're wrong!" The voice was formations. "Did you know that your friend has only one prayer and all prayers had been answered. If not, then you will not get anything. "

A sheet of white paper

Two Seeds

There are two seeds that lie in a fertile fields. Seedlings first said, "I want to grow big. I want to set down my roots deep in this land and his towering shoots me on this hard land. Elephant and Chain

An elephant handler told me that an elephant must be trained since I was small and weak. First, the baby elephant legs tied with strong steel chain on a solid milestone. Elephants only go as far as the chain length. If he attempted to flee, steel chains would hold it. Usually, he will try to break the chain by pulling it firmly but elephants still too weak to break the steel chain.

This went on for years until embedded in the mind of the elephant that he could not escape by cutting the steel chain. Thus, the handler can bring elephants to work in fields or woods without worrying about running away. So, what's the difference between steel chain with ordinary rope, when the elephant still think that he would not be able to beat what binds her feet?

If we are too afraid to run from the past that is not good, it will be like that of our future. As imperfect beings we should not continue to dissolve in ugliness, do and try new things. Do not be rigid and selfish, confident that God is Just and Merciful. God will always help and accompany our footsteps.

Brave To Trying

One day a watchmaker said to the hours that are made, "Hi-hour, are you able to beat at least 31,104,000 times a year?" "What!" Said the clock was shocked, "How do I afford it?" 

"How about 86,400 times in one day?" "Eighty thousand four hundred times? with clockwork little like this? "replied a full hour of doubt.

Then after finished running, the clock is ticking once every second. Without feel the seconds go by and the hours it was incredible because it turned out for a whole year he has been ticking relentlessly. And that means he has been beating as many as 31,104,000.

We often doubt as to the ability we have. We feel unable to do heavy and difficult work of wealth, it is easy to give up and despair. But actually, we are able to do heavy work and hard as anything if we believe in our abilities and believe in our Lord who will give us ease. 

On the big jobs and complicated, then look at from a different perspective, break-separated jobs into small parts, so when do not really feel heavy for us to live.

a MOTHER with one eye

My mother only has one eye, while the other eye defects. I hate it. She really makes me ashamed, she worked cooking for the students and teachers in schools to support the family. At one point I sat in elementary school and my mom came. I was really embarrassed, how she would do this to me? I ran away and left her when meeting her.

The next day, "Your mother's one-eyed?" Sneered a friend. I hope my mother soon vanished from the face of this earth. I say to my mother, "Mom, why do you only have one eye? If you just want me to be a mockery of the people, why do not you just die soon? "

My mother still does not react. I felt bad but at the same time I must say what I want to say. Maybe it's because mom never punished me but I do not think that I have been deeply hurt feelings.

That night I awoke and got up into the kitchen to get a glass of drinking water. My mom was crying there, sobbing, perhaps for fear that would wake me. For a moment I looked at it and then go left. I felt bad about her. However I hated my mother who was crying with one eye.

I am determined to grow up and become successful. Later I learned diligently, I left my mother and went on to study in Singapore. Then I got married, I bought my house with my own. I live with happy, I like this place because it helps me forget the mother. 

But one day, there is a visitor knocked on my door. After I opened, I was very surprised at all. MY MOTHER. Still with eyes only, I feel as though the sky fell on me. Even my children fled in fear to see my mother's one-eyed. I asked her, "Who are you? I do not know you! "I say as if it were true. I scold her, "How dare you come to my house and scare my children! GET OUT OF HERE NOW! "  My mother simply replied, "Oh, excuse me. I'm probably the wrong address. "Then he left and disappeared from sight. Oh thank goodness, she did not recognize me. I'm kind of relieved, I told myself if I would not worry anymore.

One day, an invitation to attend a school reunion sent to my home address in Singapore. So, I lied to my wife that I was going to travel. After the reunion, I visited an old shack that used to be my home. Just curious. There I found my mother fallen on the ground is cold. But I do not see tears in her eyes, she held a letter. A letter for me.

"My son, I think my life is already present. And, I'm not going to go to Singapore again. But is it too much if I expect you come visit me?
I really really miss you .. And I was delighted when I heard that you came to the reunion. But, I decided not to go to school. For the sake of you, I'm very sorry because I only have one eye and I have been very embarrassing to you.
You know, when you were little. You had an accident and lost one eye. As a mother, I can not stand watching you having to grow up with only one eye. So, I gave one of my eyes for you.

I'm very proud of you who have been able to see a new world for me, my place with that eye. I never felt angry with what ever you do, some times you mad at me. I said to myself, "THIS BECAUSE HE LOVE ME". "

The above story actually has a very deep meaning. The story is expected to arouse the conscience of all who read it. Good and evil in us is a gift from God. Contemplate for a moment and look at you.

Be thankful for every blessing that God has given to you as compared to the millions of people out there that have not been lucky like you. Always carry your mother in prayer wherever you are.

BUTTERFLY

Someone found the cocoon of a butterfly. She sat watching the candidates for the butterfly when struggling through a small hole. Then, the butterfly stopped making progress. It seems he has tried he could and could not further. Finally, the person decided to help  the butterfly, she took a scissors and cut the rest of the confinement of the butterfly. The butterfly came out with ease. However,  the butterfly has a bloated body and small, shriveled wings. She continued to watch because she hoped that someday butterfly's wings would enlarge and expand to be able to sustain his body.

But it never happened. In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of his life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings,  the butterfly could never fly.

What is not understandable from the kindness and haste, that person was that cocoon and the struggle it takes a butterfly to get through a small hole is God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that he will be ready to fly so he obtained a freedom from the cocoon.

The struggle in this life is something that we need to live our days. Perhaps if we never through our barriers to be paralyzed. God the Compassionate and All-merciful, from His plan gives the obstacles and struggles in our lives is nothing but to give us more strength to navigate life. With the barriers that we become a stronger man, better, more faithful to our Lord. If we believe God will help us solve problems that exist then God will give us relief and convenience to our problem.

God may not give us what we want but God must give us what we need, we must realize that God has a plan behind all the more lovely and calamities given to us.
